Indie says:
I think it's a waste of space for people to put up one page of comic.
It's also a waste of a domain name that somebody else could have used for a
comic that they might actually update. And it's also a waste of my life for
having to take the five seconds out of my life to look at the title of a comic
that will never be. And watch your spelling.

Some people never get to making an actual comic. Those people probably never intended to do it seriously so I guess at least, the world is spared from another crappy comic. There's also a number of accounts abandoned because of misspel, accidental double signing-up, which is ok, I guess. But those who use their accounts for stocking images and stuff, well... Recently StrRedWolf, admin niked those accounts, yey!
I think worst thing is, this makes crosspromotion on keenspace almost impossible, but it's not the only one. Admins are working on cleaning up accounts and such.
Meanwhile, the best thing you can do with an account you gave up on is giving it to someone while sign-ups are disabled.
Phalanx says:
Ah, the non-starters.
The worst thing webcomics is that people get the impression that it's something easy to do. As a result, they fail to think or plan before starting. They jump right in and find they are over their heads.
And scatter off like rats from a sinking ship.
Making a webcomic is hard work. Starting one is easy. Keeping one running is not. It is what seperates the men from boys, the girls from women.
