How Not To Start A Webcomic #15

Contributed by Ghastly of Ghastly's Ghastly Comic

Phalanx says:

What's wrong with it?:

  1. Lined Paper
  2. PDA (Poorly Drawn Art) with weak pencil lines
  3. l33t-manga 5p34k
  4. Poor image compression- to the point where you can see artifacts.
  5. Promises fanservice, but does not follow through.

Saving graces: Um... It's in the running for the worst comic ever?

Terotrous says:

(speechless)
You're just lucky Ghastly decided to censor it for you.

mcDuffies says:

There's no Brightness/contrast adjusting, but with scan like this, I'm not sure it would be much of help. There is also this notebook-paper issue.
Censor bars are stupidest things. If you don't wanna show nudity, then don't draw characters naked. Conveniently placed objects are still better solution that censor bars.
Promising porn and then censoring it is probably what most readers will hate you for, no matter if they like porn or not. It's another thing authors think is funny, but it's not only unfunny, it's also done thousand times. Even I did it once and later regretted it: promised nudity and then covered it with balloons.
Lot's of L33T and Japanese words. Not everyone knows what "baka" or "oro" means (apart form "oro" being Montenegrin national dance ;-) ). Hm, I'm pretty sure that, even with knowledge of Japanese, these words have no meaning in content they're used here.
Some speech balloons look like sphere coming right out of character's mouth. Like speech balloons in "Yellow boy". But ever since Yellow Boy, speech balloons had hundred years of evolution.
Words like "start" or "nekkid" reach out of speech balloon. "Fanserv-ice" is not a good way to bread the word at the end of the row. Character's hands reach out of panels, crossing with panel frames. Author should have at least erase frames at these places.
Keenspace logo unnaturally mounted onto page.
Yes, pretty much, this could go for the worst comic on web. (though I've seen serious comics that could compete with it)
