Actually, this comic might continue although its characters didn't decide to make a comic. I've seen that happening in comics too. I don't really the what's the point in mentioning making comics in that case.
Also, I don't see a point in making a comic about anthropomorphic animals if they act exactly like humans. In this case, point was obviously saving on drawing efforts.
Repeating structure of panel enlarging two times on same page looks ugly. As well as repeating any structure too obviously.
