How Not To Start A Webcomic #5

Contributed by TheBladeRoden of Risen

Phalanx says:

What's wrong with it?:

  1. The words "Let's start a webcomic!"
  2. The hand-lettering has been written in such a way as to ensure that the reader will suffer from seasickness.
  3. Lines are wobbly and weak and may cause blindness if stared at too long.

Saving graces: I like the mouse.

Terotrous says:

What Phalanx didn't see was that it's written on the back of something
else and the lettering shows through to the other side. Classy.

mcDuffies says:

Hehe! I didn't notice those letters either! Quirky!
I don't think guys before me mentioned that in first panel, text balloons are not placed in right order, so readers get impression that after white guy's comment, black guy says "I'm bored", and then, out of sudden, reacts to white guy's comment, on second panel. Author "tried" to fix this disorder with an arrow pointing to where balloon should actually be placed.
Lines that separate panels are hand-drawn. Separating panels with simply one thin line doesn't look very good and it might make confusion if panels are crowded. In addition to that, these lines are not very straight.
This is yet another story of what happens to people who start comics out of boredom.
I might add that the site they're making is not very efficient either. Comic itself is taking 1/3 of space, while others are newsboxes, ads and whatnot.
